a position with Refrigeration Technology Inc. (RTI)
RTI is an industrial
refrigeration Design-Build engineering contractor and
manufacturer.
We specialize in
refrigeration systems for the wine industry.
The company has been
in business for over 25 years, growing from a small
three person company
working out of my home to 25 employees working
out of a 20,000 sq
ft shop and office complex.
The time has come to
plan for the future of the company.
I plan to retire in
three to five years and I have several options.
1. I can shut the
business down and liquidate.
2. I can try to sell
it outright.
3. I can find a
special person that is honest, intelligent, hard working
and willing to
work as my assistant for several years to learn the
business.
Using sweat
equity they would become a part-owner in the business .
Eventually they
would take over the business.
Option 3 is the
direction I would like to head.
I
want the business to continue after I am not willing or able to continue
working.
There is no one currently employed at RTI with the skills necessary to run the
company.
I have a BS ME from
Cal Poly and a PE ME form the state of California.
I graduated with a
degree in AC&R Engineering.
The successful
candidate must have experience with basic refrigeration
systems
and electrical
controls. They must be a quick learner.
The candidate would
have to live close by and report to the office every day.
This is not a work
at home position.
We work with fans
and pumps on a daily basis.
We also clean the
bathroom if necessary !
Sales engineering is
also part of the job along with project managment, purchasing
and
expediting.

The world economy is
in a tail spin. We just completed the worst year in out
history
but we are still
here. There are a lot of companies, many much larger ,that can't say that
!!
We have all had to
tighten out belts but we do what is required to survive.
If you want a
$100,000 salary , a car and 4 weeks vacation your first year good
luck.
Do not waste you
time here. If you want to join a small tight organization and
become
part of the team, we
will succeed together.
